About
In 2003, the Utah Cultural Celebration Center (UCCC) was created to provide a place where people from all walks of life can come together and share ideas; inspire, nurture, and learn from one another; enjoy arts and cultural experiences; concerts and performing arts. It is also a place for businesses, individuals and other groups to gather for conferences, seminars, ceremonies, and other special events. Last year, public arts and cultural programs at the Center served nearly 56,000 patrons. In 2012, the Utah Cultural Celebration Center Foundation was created to support the work of the West Valley City Division of Arts and Culture through programming that included art exhibits, concerts, and public education programs that were traditionally housed at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center. In 2019, the board of directors made the decision to change the name of the Utah Cultural Celebration Center Foundation to the West Valley Arts and Cultural Foundation or West Valley Arts. For many years, the Utah Cultural Celebration Center has functioned as the primary facility to the Division of Arts and Culture providing events, arts programming, and arts educational opportunities for West Valley citizens and the greater Wasatch Front. Recently, we have grown to include Harman Theatre, and we have embarked on an exciting city-wide public arts program.

The Utah Cultural Celebration Center has a variety of preferred caterers to choose from for all budgets & needs. The following is a list of caterers (in alphabetical order) that have been pre-approved to work in our venue so your event runs smoothly. Alcoholic beverages may be dispensed only by the Utah Cultural Celebration Center’s Concessionaire. Caterers are not allowed to provide bar service for your event, this must be contracted through the UCCC.

The Utah Cultural Celebration Center is equipped with state-of-the-art lighting, presentation and audio equipment. Brio Technologies is the audio/visual provider for the Utah Cultural Celebration Center and will ensure an effective presentation of your meeting, including daily technical support. Please ask your assigned coordinator for selections and pricing.

Parking on premise
Self-parking is available on-site at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center.
Cancellations
If you cancel your event more than 30 days in advance, all payments other than the deposit are refundable. If you cancel within twenty (20) to ten (10) days prior to the scheduled date of event the booking deposit and 50% of final payment will not be refunded. If User terminates this agreement ten (10) days or less prior to the scheduled date of the event, you will not be refunded.
Permits and Insurance
Generally, no need to purchase insurace. However, some types of events do require some sort of coverage provided by the user. If you have any specific concerns, please contact your event coordinator.
