The Actor's Apothecary

TAA was born out of a desire to rekindle the local acting community after the 2020 pandemic left most of us longing for a creative outlet. When live auditions transitioned to tape only, Chelsea and Sylvia found themselves making the best of what was offered to them. They made the accidental discovery that reading and getting to play with other actors can be just as invigorating as a live audition. Together they created a space to play, laugh, and support one another’s goals in an otherwise bleak time. Through the support of each other and their loved ones, they decided to take the leap and extend this source of joy to the rest of their community that they hold dear. The Actor’s Apothecary is founded on friendship, community, inclusion, love, and support. We want nothing more than to see every performer that walks through our doors succeed and thrive.
