Known for his intricate and whimsical hand-carved carousels and amusement rides, Charles built over 40 carousels in his time. “Wolfie’s” carousels circled the country from Brooklyn to Coney Island, Rhode Island to the West Coast — his inimitable style of carving captivating crowds and inspiring others. We take the spirit of Wolfie and his carousels and pledge to live a life well traveled, grabbing the brass ring in an evocation of a Parisian bistro.
