After renting 500 square feet of space in an old textile mill, we opened the first rum distillery in the Carolinas roughly 50 yards from the “muddy” Catawba River, which gave Muddy River Distillery its name.

Muddy River Distillery has the perfect spot for you. We are available for rent 7 days a week depending on availability. We offer competitive pricing and a la carte options for customizing our space to make it yours. Located on the Banks of the Catawba River, we are 11 minutes west of the Charlotte Airport and 25 minutes from Downtown Charlotte. The distillery has tables and seating for 30 for a seated dinner. 50 people for a standing room hors d’oeuvres or buffet and cocktails. Great for birthday parties, rehearsal dinners, engagement parties, bridal and baby showers. Inquire for specialty cocktails and cocktail options. Bring in your own food or catering. Bring your own decorations, tablecloths, etc
