About

Armageddon Beach party is the fluid collaboration of the married, Detroit native Artist duo KOZMA & MOTU (Elena Noelle Smyth & Aubrey M Smyth). Creating Contemporary Pop Surrealist Art together since 2013 & named "Detroit's Ambassadors of Psychedelia" by Detroit Metro Times in 2014, their work explores ancient cultural & spiritual beliefs blending the realms of the subconscious from an intrinsically modern perspective. Showcasing an ethos of ever-evolving character-driven concepts, they're known for creating a wide range of paintings, murals, sculptures & art installations. Their art has been exhibited Nationally at Galleries & Festivals around the country & is part of numerous private collections including a large selection of their work in the collection of multi-Grammy Award-winning Musician, Zac Brown of the Zac Brown Band. In 2018, they opened their brick & mortar immersive Art Gallery & Venue, the Armageddon Beach party Lounge featuring their art & ethos near Midtown, Detroit. The space creates a creative & cultural platform for a multitude of performers & musicians showcasing both seasoned veterans & emerging talent from Detroit & around the globe.
