The Madrone Mound is the ideal space for large, outdoor events. The Mound is surrounded with bamboo and showcases an exquisite 100-year old oak tree. The Madrone Mound is an open gravel area situated between the Lower House, Zen Garden, and Cultural Exchange Center. The Mound is the perfect clean slate to customize for your unique event, with additional rental options available. This area is available after the gardens close to the public and has a capacity of 180 guests. The Mound is tented with our off-season tent from mid-November to mid-April in case of rain, making it an ideal venue for smaller events during the rainy season. The Madrone Mound is ideal for evening wedding receptions, client appreciation events, birthday parties, and more!
