Overview
The Cultural Exchange Center (CEC) is a replica of a Kyoto style Tea Merchant's shop and home from the Edo Period. Custom-built in Japan, the CEC was shipped, and rebuilt at its present location in 1991. The CEC comes with two rest rooms, a small kitchen and a spacious deck which offers panoramic views of Silicon Valley. This museum style conference hall is perfect for all-day meetings from 10 to 50 guests. The Cultural Exchange Center is also ideal for birthday parties, baby showers, wedding receptions, and anniversary parties with less than 50 people. With the building and deck all to yourself, this area feels truly private even when the gardens are open. Rental of the CEC and deck allows the option for indoor or outdoor dining, and is also included in the package for an evening wedding reception as a dance area and multi-purpose room.
