Lower Lobby

The lower lobby is divided into four areas: The box office lobby, the Hall of Mirrors (entryway lobby), the main lobby, and the art gallery. The box office lobby is trapezoid in shape. It measures 26’2 feet wide (8 m) along the doors. It measures 23’2” deep (7.05 m) along the box office windows, but only 18’ (5.5 m) along the opposite side. The ceiling is 11’ high(3.3 m) not including the chandelier. The Hall of Mirrors is 25’ wide by 40’ deep (7.6 x 12.2 m), or 1,150 sq. ft. There are stairs to the reception lobby and rear of the house located here. This area is often used for ticketing and merchandise sales. The main lobby is 18’ wide by 74’ deep (5.5 x 22.875 m). The coffered ceiling ranges between 7’3 and 8’10” high (2.2 – 2.7 m). The concession stand and both entrances to the theater auditorium are located here. The lower gallery offers display space for local artists and artisans. It may also be used as a rehearsal space or reception area.
