The lavish movie theater was designed in a combination of French and Italian styles by Thomas White Lamb, one of the foremost theater architects of his day. After a series of ownership changes, Boston Opera House was restored and renovated in late 2004 in order to accommodate the needs of large Broadway touring productions. The 2600 seat theater, features a steady rotation with the Boston Ballet, Broadway shows, and is available for pre-show and private events!
