About

Joomak Banjum is a Korean-Chinese fusion executed with French technique and expressed through New York culture. The team is bringing a new and unique experience to Koreatown with an extensive focus on the wine and beverage program. After a series of successful and sold-out pandemic popups restaurants, former Executive Pastry Chefs, Jiho Kim previously of The Modern and Kelly Nam formerly of Electric Lemon, paired up with restaurateur, Sarah Kang to open their first permanent space, Joomak Banjum (meaning “tavern” and “Chinese restaurant” in Korean).
