Conveniently located at First & Franklin Streets, our hotel is just minutes away from all major attractions in the capital area. In a city where history abounds, Linden Row Inn stands alone in offering its guests the "True Richmond" experience. The hotel is comprised of seven row houses built in the mid-1800’s that have been meticulously restored over the years. The hotel’s guest rooms and parlour suites are furnished with antiques from the middle and late 1800’s, and we are proud to be featured on the National Register of Historic Places. Our historic property offers guests all of the modern conveniences and amenities that refined travelers expect. Our guest rooms and event space open to an intimate, beautiful winding garden courtyard, capturing all the romance of a by-gone era while serving up the Southern hospitality for which Richmond is famous. It's no wonder that Linden Row Inn is one of Richmond's most popular gathering places for special events, weddings and corporate meetings. Among the many famous past residents of our property, Edgar Allan Poe spent his childhood playing in the garden that is now the hotel’s garden courtyard. In fact, local legend has it that the property is home to the “enchanted garden” that Poe mentions in his famous poem “To Helen.”

Our in-house catering department through Groovin’ Gourmet handles all private event food & beverage needs including alcoholic beverages. You are welcome to utilize an outside company for desserts should you choose to do so.

Technology

In-house A/V

We are pleased to offer complimentary Wi-Fi, pens, and pads to each corporate meeting contracted in our event space. Additionally, we do offer an easel, dry erase board, and markers upon request. Other items such as a LCD projector and large screen are available for an additional rental charge. We do not provide a tech engineer during your meeting, so we ask all clients to ensure that their computer software and hardware are functioning before the meeting starts.

Transportation

We offer 'event only' valet parking for $10 per car. Your guests can pay for this individually, or we can master bill the parking to the client's account. Please provide us with at least 14 day advance notice on whether you plan to utilize the hotel's valet parking service so that we may staff your event accordingly. We also offer overnight valet parking for your guests staying at Linden Row Inn for $18 per night.

Storage

Please keep all equipment and props in your sleeping room until 2 hours prior to event start time. We recommend coordinating this room as one of your Garden room reservations that is checking in the night prior and the morning after the event for ease of your loading in and out. The Board Room may be a space to store items as long as there is not an event in that space the night prior to your event. Please coordinate with our Sales Department on this detail.

Permits and Insurance

While we do not require our clients to purchase event insurance we do highly recommend that our couples research options that are out there to protect their special day. We have learned about a great product that is offered by www.WedSafe.com that can provide coverage to the couple as well as offering liability coverage for damage to our facility. Sustainability

Our commitment to the environment is exemplified by our status as a Virginia Green property. On that note, we have implemented a handful of initiatives to ensure the conservation of our planet’s precious resources. These initiatives include energy conservation through the use of energy efficient lighting, and water conservation through the reuse of linens guests staying more than one night.
