In 2015, Cetrella relocated from Half Moon Bay to Los Altos to best serve its Silicon Valley clientele. Later that year, modern luxury Silicon Valley Magazine honored Cetrella among the 10 Most Exciting New Restaurants in The Best Restaurants Issue. Named for the Isle of Capri’s fragrant panoramic Cetrella Valley with views of farallons and Bay of Naples, Cetrella is also a nexus of rustic worldly cuisine. At the Los Altos gateway, its accessible fine dining features Mediterranean-rim and California coastal dishes, sourced from regional growers and purveyors. Public dining selections include appetizers like seafood crudo, mussels, fritto misto and foie gras, lunchtime egg, soup and salad entrées, house made pizza, bread and pasta. Savory full entrées and simply grilled entrées and side dishes utilize sustainably raised vegetable, fish, fowl and premium meat. The Bar Menu offers house made Woodstone Oven pizza, burgers and two cheese flights. Dessert include Valrhona chocolate trio, Basque cake with stone fruit and gelato, and crème brulée. The kitchen adapts menu items for patrons with food sensitivities, or observing dietary plans, including vegan, vegetarian and dairy-free.
