Overview
From Food Truck Promotions
For nearly two years, Uber was preparing for one of the most important and exciting days in the company’s history: Uber’s initial public offering (IPO) on Wall Street. To bring excitement to the masses and promote their monumental debut, Uber partnered with Food Truck Promotions to transform two food trucks into an UberEats pop-up shop on wheels as part of a field marketing initiative to give away beverages and snacks as the event unfolded right in front of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
Uber’s banner was hanging from the front of the New York Stock Exchange on Friday morning ahead of the trading opening bell. After a dramatic countdown, the Uber Eats trucks began serving the public on the NYSE grounds, accompanied by reporters who were there to cover the event as it was happening live.
The Uber Eats truck offered gourmet snacks ranging from Black Seed Bagels served with your choice of homemade almond butter or cream cheese, to Mah-Ze-Dahr Bakery’s special coffee cake or gluten-free banana bread. Customers also had the chance to indulge in fresh Agavi Juice or Brooklyn Diamond Cold Brew. After all, what would Wall Street be without coffee?
