Coca-cola was returning to the Grand Tasting Pavilion of the New York City Wine and Food Festival. They needed to up-the-ante from from last year’s activation while drawing attention to their new aluminum bottle, which featured better recycling life and a new take on the iconic bottle design.
As the centerpiece of attention, we designed and fabricated a custom chandelier of over 250 bottles and 1000 crystals. As the chandelier drew in photo ops, guests interacted with the updated automat, a play on nostalgia, and the twist of enjoying a food pairing with a favorite Coke product. Coca-Cola saw the benefit of the chandelier and ordered 6 more to be shipped to activations around the country to bring other events a little more impact.
