Overview
From ATOMIC
Streaming live on Prime Video, the two hour long 2019 Prime Day Concert presented by Amazon Music was a night full of impressive performances. With Taylor Swift headlining and amazing performances by Dua Lipa, SZA and Becky G, it was crucial to have a beautiful set that not only looked great in person, but also for viewers streaming live at home. ATOMIC was thrilled to be chosen to embark on building scenery for the much anticipated event.
The ATOMIC Set Construction team got to work weeks before the event digging into the details of the build and turning the desired set into a reality. Over 1700 feet of LED spanned the set, integrated into the custom built portal, custom teasers and ground structures. The flooring included a custom thrust with integrated LED and floor video as well as triangle plexi decking that allowed the floor to be up-lit. The close down featured an aluminum frame surround with integrated LED video tiles.
Overall, it was a great experience working on the slick 2019 Prime Day Concert set and wouldn’t have been possible without our fantastic client and partners: Fremantle Media, Art Director Veronica Ferre, Production Designer Steve Bass and Lighting Designer Joshua Hutchings.
