Overview
From ATOMIC
Who doesn’t want to shop for the newest footwear in a speakeasy-esque pop-up? Nike, in partnership with Footlocker, asked ATOMIC to produce and build two pop-up premium retail experiences in NYC and Boston, the Sneakeasy. These pop-up stores featured a speakeasy aesthetic and the newest from Nike, Jordan and Converse. Sneakerheads and Nike Members were invited to attend and given the exclusive chance to buy brand new gear.
ATOMIC Production Services worked closely with Nike Brand Design, creative agency Hovercraft and Game Seven to realize the vision of this unique retail experience. The Production team took care of everything from permitting and labor to AV and Lighting and managing the client. The ATOMIC Scenic team built the entire pop-up including a large, sleek structure in the center of the room and a circular exterior structure that featured shoe display windows and drawers. The shoppers could buy their new AF1’s or Airmax’s on the app and then have the shoes magically appear in the corresponding drawer inside the Sneakeasy.
The NYC pop-up last two weeks, while the Boston pop-up was short and sweet over the course of four days.Multiple special events took place including both public and private Celtics-themed events, a Converse event and an Odell Beckham Jr. party.
ATOMIC is always stoked to continue bringing the Nike experiential and retail vision to life! A big thanks and shout out to Nike, Game Seven, Verona, 4Wall, Seth Bernstein and C2W Rigging.
