Popping in with two questions today. First….. Favorite small private rooms for a lunch in Manhattan (needs to be in Manhattan).
Gramercy Tavern has always been one of my go to favs for private dining- https://thevendry.com/venue/21396/gramercy-tavern-new-york-ny/space/381
Marian's is a new spot in the West village, think they do lunch on Fridays (but not other days during the week. They have a semi private dining room - it has French doors and is in the middle of the restaurant but is so nice because it gets lots of light! https://thevendry.com/venue/159008/marians-new-york-ny
Maybe Claudette’s? Their Flamingo room is very cute.
I always recommend Blackbarn, they have this cute "cabin" room that works well for lunch (we used it all the time when I was at Yext) - also it's centrally located right north of Madison Square Park.
Separately, we're redoing our venue search with some major improvements but for now you can filter by a capacity range if helpful https://thevendry.com/venues/usa/ny/new-york/restaurants?c1=8&c2=14&v=35
If you are reaching out to Blackbarn, here is Jadelyn’s contact info: [email hidden]. She is the Director of Events
Upland is excellent. Small room downstairs is charming.
@EventPlanner391 Late response but Il Buco has some lovely (& delicious) options in their spaces: https://ilbuco.com
I think we’re going to go with either L’Artusi or Lafayette!
both great!

We have checked the availability and suggested:

-Don Angie
-Cote
-Gramercy Tavern
-Morandi
-Avra Madison
Open to any ideas and suggestions so thanks in advance! 😊

Hi again! 👋 I am curious if anyone has any NY based restaurants or caterers they'd recommend that are women owned? Hello hello! I’m wondering if anyone has a FAVOURITE place to host private dinners, with AV capabilities, for 16-20 people in NYC.
Hi all! Looking for a super high-end restaurant in NYC with a private dining room that can accommodate a dinner for about 20-25 ppl. Something in the world of a new/interesting venue with a celeb chef or Michelin star (think Ci Siamo, less Le Bernadin). Midtown would be ideal but open to other areas of Manhattan.
Happy new year everyone! 🎉 I'm searching for a private space (likely a restaurant) in NYC that can host a dinner for 10, and also has a TV in the space for a business presentation. Any recs would be so appreciated!
Hi there - wondering if anyone has a few favorite spots in NYC that can do ~20 people at one table?
Hi! Does anyone have any recommendations for restaurants in NYC (specifically Soho or West Village) that can seat 20 people for dinner? Trying to find a spot where people won't be stuck at a table(s) and can get up, walk around and talk to everyone at the dinner party.
Hi everyone, I'm looking for a private room in a restaurant that can accomodate up to 25 people. Max budget approx 5-6k all in. (Manhattan required, below midtown preferred). Any recs?

Hi everyone !! I’m hoping to find an exclusive and difficult to get into restaurant to host 15-20 clients in NYC. We’ve already done The Polo Bar. Any other recommendations? If you also have a similar style rec for Dallas, Ill take that too :). Thanks!
Has anyone used a live scribe in New York? I'm looking for something like Scriberia but based in New York / the states more broadly.
I’m working on putting together a template for the team to show to leadership with where we want to show up, investment level, type of event, past KPIs, and any other relevant information.. does anyone have recs on how to do this outside of excel? There’s nothing wrong with tried and true haha just want to see if I’m missing an opportunity to use something better if it’s out there :)
Any favorite suggestions for a great rooftop + great food for a work happy hour for #50 people?
Looking for a loft or residential style space (not a hotel) for a 15-person VIP dinner in NYC. Ideally SoHo/downtown. Must have a useable kitchen for private chef
<!here>, we're kicking off this channel to be a dedicated space to support one another as event tech continues to rapidly evolve. This post on LinkedIn inspired me to ask - are you willing to share your event tech stack with the group here? It might help inspire other members to look into new solutions, or ask for your more specific advice or opinion on tech you currently use. As a reminder, we also have the #ai-for-events channel for those interested.
We are planning some private dining events in NYC and I'm curious if there are any hidden gems of event spaces or private dining rooms (Manhattan) that folks would recommend. Dinners will be about 25 people. We did the last one at Little Owl Townhouse and loved it!!
