The Michael and Jacqueline Ferro Fountain of the Righteous, located just outside the Museum, is a peaceful place for quiet reflection. It pays special tribute to the non-Jewish individuals and families who risked their lives to rescue Jews during the Holocaust, as recognized by Yad Vashem. The fountain is encircled by plaques that honor the seventy-one people who have been honored by the Museum for their heroic and courageous efforts to rescue Jewish refugees during the war. The Museum continues to celebrate the Righteous Among the Nations and occasionally adds new names to the Ferro Fountain.
