Overview
The largest of the three spaces offered at the Hampton Opera Center is the The Gregory K. and Mary Chomenko Hinckley Studio Theatre. This black-box theatre can host up to 220 guests, with multiple riser/thrust and seating options. The studio is also ideal for large gatherings such as company parties or luncheons for over 150 guests. Portland Opera performs at least one show per season in the The Gregory K. and Mary Chomenko Hinckley Studio Theatre, and has also housed Push/Fold Contemporary Dance Company, Next Adventure, and Artists Repertory Theatre. The Gregory K. and Mary Chomenko Hinckley Studio Theatre is equipped with a lighting truss and comes with complimentary use of the lighting inventory, light board and house soft goods.
