Overview
The Opera Foyer is a modern visitor center located in the Vienna State Opera. It opened in December 2020 and features ticket sales, a shop, and a café. The interior design, created by BWM Architects, reflects the original architectural style of the Vienna State Opera from the 1860s and its reconstruction in the 1950s. The main room is characterized by three long tables that serve multiple functions. Visitors can also relax on the sofas in the window recesses, while the oval counter of the small café is a popular meeting place before performances. The dimensions of the space are as follows: Length - 35.5 meters, Width - 9.6 meters, Height - 6.3 meters, and a total area of 328 square meters.
