The Sculpture Gallery is a part of the 1883–86 addition to the Telfair mansion. It showcases classical architectural elements such as four Ionic columns and clerestory windows adorned with pilasters. In the past, a skylight in the center of the gallery's ceiling allowed natural light to illuminate the space from the Rotunda above. The gallery was originally decorated with murals by Carl Brandt, depicting significant archaeological sites. These murals were placed in the panels between the windows.
