This stately Romanesque hall can comfortably accommodate up to 130 guests with room for a small band and dance floor, or up to 175 for dinner. Capacity for a lecture or cocktails is a comfortable 200. Towering cathedral windows lead up to the polychrome wood ceiling, reclaimed from the construction of the Lexington Avenue subway, and a rare sixteenth-century bas-relief fireplace anchors the space. The adjacent Mark Twain Room is included in the rental fee.
