The Maiden’s Tower is a wonderful venue on Castle Island. Originally a Tudor bake house, until recently, the Tower was the home of the last private owner’s daughter. Today, the building has been refurbished and redecorated in a beautiful style, offering self-contained accommodation for events and celebrations. The imposing entrance hall with an extraordinary wall hanging by Raoul Dufy opens into two tapestry-hung large rooms with huge fireplaces and polished oak floorboards. The Maiden’s Tower accommodates up to 26 boardrooms, 80 theatre style, and 26 u-shape. It is an extremely flexible venue and can be used for product launches, formal meetings, residential conferences or presentations. In fine weather, the French doors can be opened onto the garden, offering private outdoor space. The Tower can be used throughout the day and is entirely separate from the day visitor route, with good disabled access to all facilities on the ground floor.
