The Liebieghaus Garden

The stylistic blend in the architecture is mirrored by the variety of vegetation from many regions of the world in the garden surrounding the villa. To this day, plane trees, paulownias, trumpet trees, black walnut, red and white-blossoming chestnuts, magnolias, and the Japanese pagoda tree join to create a unique and idyllic atmosphere. On various occasions, the Liebieghaus Garden also serves as a beautiful event setting, whether for an exhibition opening, a concert, a sculpture workshop, the annual children’s festival, or the popular “Secret Garden” series in which framework the Liebieghaus celebrates balmy summer nights with well-known DJs and art.
