Built-in 1906 in the neo-baroque style and recently renovated, the ballroom in the Jügelhaus of the Senckenberg Gesellschaft für Naturforschung can be offered as a historic location for events. Thanks to the large arched windows, the ballroom is flooded with light; white stucco and light red marble decorate the ceiling and walls. The center of the hall is adorned with an imposing chandelier, giving this room a festive atmosphere. The organ, designed in 1947 by Professor Helmut Walcha with a modern, neo-Baroque orientation, represents a new beginning in Bach reception and can be used during the event. The location is ideally suited for a wide variety of event formats: from vibrant receptions and festive dinner evenings to unique award ceremonies and concerts. Private celebrations such as birthdays as well as conferences and meetings are also possible. Capacity: about 160 persons with long tables.
