Portego

The Portego is a huge high-beamed hall located on the noble floor of Ca' Sagredo Hotel near Venice Grand Canal. It is a typical architectural feature of Venetian palaces and serves as the main access point to all function rooms. The Portego is preceded by the magnificent staircase by Andrea Tirali and is adorned with the famous fresco painting 'The Fall of the Giants' by Pietro Longhi. The hall offers a refined ambience with gothic windows that provide enchanting views of the Grand Canal and its surroundings. With its wide dimensions and ample natural light, the Portego can accommodate up to 150 guests for various events such as banquets, cocktails, and theatre-style gatherings.
