Born from the great project of a Lyon industrialist, Émile Guimet, to create a museum of the religions of Egypt, classical antiquity and Asian countries, and inaugurated in Lyon in 1879, the Guimet Museum was transferred to Paris in 1889. Renovated in the early 2000s by architects Henri and Bruno Gaudin, the Guimet Museum offers diverse and unique spaces adapted to your different event formats.
