Engine Rooms

Situated underneath the southern side of the Bridge, the enchanting Engine Rooms house the huge and beautifully maintained coal-driven engines that were once used to power the Bridge Lifts. A feast for the senses, the atmospheric Engine Rooms invite you into a Victorian world where steam was king. In addition to the giant engines, the Engine Rooms also present a rang of intriguing exhibits which ensure conversation will continue to flow well into the night.
