Overview
In 1963, the Palau Aguilar, at No. 15 Carrer de Montcada, became the first space to house the Museu Picasso de Barcelona. The original mansion dates from the 13th century and the central courtyard is from the 15th century, with flamboyant Gothic sculptures. Given its striking dimensions, it offers an exceptional setting for standing buffets and small-scale dinners and is an ideal reception area for welcoming guests to events held in other venues at the Museum.
