When Henry Flagler first visited this area, he was very impressed with the massive Cocoanut Grove that covered thousands of acres on the east side of Lake Worth. To him it seemed like he had discovered paradise. Today, Whitehall’s World Famous Cocoanut Grove is the only reminder of what Palm Beach once looked like. Its lush tropical atmosphere overlooking Lake Worth is an ideal venue for all kinds of gatherings. Adjacent to the Cocoanut Grove is Whitehall’s South Porch, which may be utilized in conjunction with the Grove as a covered space.
