Overview

The Sunday School Barn was originally owned by Charles Dougherty and on Dublin Boulevard near Donlon Way. The Barn was said to have been used for Sunday School and meeting space by local Protestants. The Barn was later purchased by George Kolb in 1905 and moved to the Kolb Family Farm where it was in continuous use for over 100 years. In 2009, the Kolb Family gifted the Sunday School Barn, along with the main house and several outbuildings, to the City of Dublin. The buildings were moved to the Heritage Park in 2011. Today, the Sunday School Barn is central to Dublin's Historic Park and Museums and is used for a variety of classes, activities, events, small theatrical productions, and meeting space.
