The Matsu & Take Rooms

The Matsu & Take Rooms are authentic Japanese rooms with Tatami (thick straw mats), which are rare in New York. It is a perfect venue to host non-Japanese guests who can experience a very “JAPANESE” atmosphere. The divider can be opened to accommodate larger parties. Matsu room has a fireplace and is used for tea ceremonies, too. Service staff in Kimono will serve authentic Japanese food for your lunch/ dinner in these rooms. Sukiyaki and /or Shabu shabu cooked by IH cookers are also available in these rooms. Note: Seating capacity is 4 guests/room.
