The 747 Experience

Ship 6301 was the first 747-400 built by the Boeing Aircraft Company. This unique exhibit and event space opened in March 2017. Inside, visitors are able to sit in aircraft seats, check out the upper deck, walk out on a wing on our customer-designed wing walk, examine what goes on behind walls of an aircraft, and learn all about the history of the 747 and its role in aviation history. The plane is available for private events every evening and on Wednesday when the Museum is closed to Patrons. The plaza area surrounding the 747 Experience is also available for outdoor receptions.
