In November 1950, the courtroom was the location of the Kefauver Hearings, which were led by the U.S. Congress. Hearings were held across the country to determine the influence of the mob on American society. During normal Museum hours the courtroom appears as it did in 1950, complete with historic furniture. Rental includes Museum admission for up to 100 guests, additional guests extra. Also included are the use of the historic courtroom benches and Museum owned low cocktail tables, use of podium and one microphone, background music piped in, event staff, housekeeping and security. Furniture rental and catering are additional.
