Overview
Built in 1931 by the U.S. Army, the Presidio Chapel is a beautiful and inspiring building located on the Main Post, the cultural heart of the Presidio. The Mural Room features high ceilings with original redwood beams, wrought-iron chandeliers, grand oak doors, a magnificent fresco by Victor Arnautoff, and arched stained-glass windows by Willemina Ogtero. In addition, there is a stunning outdoor garden lined with flowers, grass, and mature tree.
