Event Management + Floral Design House
Elegance & Simplicity, Inc. has designed 1000's of events in 30+ countries since 1998. With in-house planners, floral designers and carpenters, we are able to design and produce and execute your event all in house.
Owners Katie Martin & Miguel Vasquez have always had Diversity & Inclusion initiatives to work with the most talented designers in over 30 countries. Our in-house staffing is over 90% BIPOC and we have always been committed to providing a safe and inclusive work environment both in-house and at the events that we produce.
Our company has had a sustainability commitment since its inception in 1998. Our floral design studio is a zero waste facility with no trash cans. We compost on our property, recycle and reduce all items that we produce. All event decor and designs are either donated or composted or reused. We closed our offices in 2020 and have decided to only work remotely in zoom meetings and only have in-person meetings when necessary at event venues, tastings, etc. Each year we reevaluate our sustainability mission. In 2022 we made the switch to no longer use biodegradable paper towels for cleaning vases to using in-house towels made with bamboo and other sustainable fabrics. All aspects of sustainability are looked at year round both in-house and at our events.
