Hallmark Christmas Cruise

Breakthrough Productions recently partnered with Sixthman to transform the Norwegian Gem into a Christmas Wonderland for the inaugural Hallmark Channel Christmas Cruise. Blending traditional holiday charm with modern aesthetics and Hallmark branding, the ship hosted two sold-out sailings filled with festive magic. Guests stepped into a world of larger-than-life décor installed in just one morning (4 hours) by a team of Santa’s helpers (Breakthrough's team). Photo opportunities abounded, from scenes inspired by Hallmark’s newest Christmas movies to oversized ornaments and present stacks perfect for interactive moments. A customized cocoa cart on the pool deck invited cruisers to snap warm holiday selfies, while the theater dazzled with a festive proscenium, creating the perfect setting for Hallmark stars to delight audiences. In the atrium, a stunning activation adorned with oversized ornaments, garlands, and twinkling lights crowned the grand staircase Topped with the largest Bow that would fit onto the ship. Each design element brought the Hallmark team’s vision to life, ensuring an immersive and joyful experience for all. The Hallmark events team appreciated the seamless installation process, even noting they had time to enjoy lunch rather than rushing to the finish line. Delivering a stress-free, cheerful experience was our mission, and the enthusiastic feedback made this project unforgettable.
