Red Bull aimed to host an interactive event to promote the upcoming Red Bull Kumite 2024 tournament at Brooklyn’s Greenpoint Terminal Warehouse. We worked with Throwing Star Collective to help produce the Red Bull Kumite Gaming Pop-Up in Times Square.
The one-day pop-up consisted of top gamers and the general public playing Street Fighter 6 on a 68 ft x 42 ft digital billboard for onlookers to watch. Passersby scanned a QR code on the billboard for a chance to play on the main stage or on one of four Street Fighter 6 setups under the tent in Father Duffy Square. Our team led and facilitated permitting for the event, including meeting with city officials and providing site plans. We also handled permitting, staging, lighting, audio, staffing, and site support.
