When you think of golf tournaments, khakis, golf claps, and a quiet atmosphere likely come to mind. Curaleaf, the leading cannabis company, wanted to shake things up and create an unforgettable experience during the Waste Management Open Golf Tournament in Scottsdale, Arizona. That’s why they turned to the Masters of Moments at RMNG, a company renowned for its ability to craft engaging and Instagram-worthy experiences. RMNG’s team of experts went to work, constructing a stunning 3-hole mini-golf course in the Curaleaf parking lot, directly across the street from the tournament. The course featured brightly-colored, life-sized Curaleaf packages as obstacles, a DJ spinning electrifying tunes, and prizes for all players. The activation was designed to promote Curaleaf’s flagship brands, Select & Find, while creating engagement and memorable moments for attendees. As golf enthusiasts made their way to the nearby tournament, they were lured in by the vibrant atmosphere of the mini-golf course. Over 1,000 guests decided to take a swing and play a round of mini-golf, win prizes, and shop for goodies before attending the main event. To enter the competition, guests had to scan a QR code before gaining access to the course. As they played through both sides of the course, guests found themselves at the photo moment, where they could snap pics, take videos, or film TikToks in front of the “talk birdie to me” archway and hedge.
