Overview
From Channel V Media
Audience Entertainment is a New York-based entertainment technology company that makes big screens interactive through technology that reads and reacts to audience movement and sound.
While Audience Entertainment had implemented its technology in select movie theaters, arenas, stadiums and concert venues abroad, mainstream U.S. audiences were very unfamiliar with the technology. Furthermore, while the platform was proven, good content was lacking.
Channel V Media determined that, first and foremost, Audience Entertainment needed high-quality content. Once they had this, they would need big, splashy events to expose that content.
Audience Entertainment introduced a SDK (software developer kit), which would entice developers to start developing content for their platform. Upon its release, Channel V Media successfully placed this news on TechCrunch, the world’s biggest outlet for technology news. Developers took notice and very quickly, the company started generating incredible content.
With the entertainment world watching, Audience Entertainment’s next big activation was the launch of a new music video from Grammy-nominated R&B artist, Ne-Yo. Taking place on a billboard in New York City’s Times Square, this was the first interactive video launch in history.
Audiences gathered on the street for the big reveal, controlled by their physical interaction, and NE-YO addressed our VIP entertainment audience with the backstory behind his partnership with AE.
