For the first time in three years, Manchester United brought the hugely popular fan event #ILOVEUNITED back to the U.S., touching down at Oasis Wynwood in Miami, FL.
#ILOVEUNITED MIA offered 2,000+ lucky fans an opportunity to experience a Man United match like never before, with a live screening of the match with Norwich City, live entertainment, giveaways and some very special guests.
FIFA World Cup Golden Boot winner Diego Forlan is a cult hero among Man United supporters, while Andy Cole is one of the club’s greatest goal scorers of all time. Both were onsite to greet attendees, helping to shorten the distance from Miami to England.
Local Miami artist, Surge, created a live mural throughout the activation, which served as both an active visual attraction and photo moment backdrop, driving social media content throughout the day.
Manifold worked with Man United on all aspects of #ILOVEUNITED MIA from creative production and promotional photography to venue management as well as AV and satellite needs for the global broadcast of the fan event.
“#ILOVEUNITED MIA marks the first time the club has been able to host one of our hugely popular fan events in their traditional, physical format since the pandemic. Returning to the U.S. for such an important moment underlines our commitment to connecting with fans in the U.S.,” said Victoria Timpson, Manchester United’s CEO of Alliances and Partnerships.
