A storied awards show that takes place each June, COVID-19 eliminated the possibility of in-person but the show needed to go on. So Advisen enlisted Sequence to transition to a virtual program and help bring the event to life. To help keep the feel of the live event and build intrigue, all award nominees sent in acceptance speeches, with only the winners’ videos played on the night-of. Sponsors engagement was paramount so activations included a brand tie-in for cocktail hour, commercial spots and an after party (plus a bloopers reel!). The virtual event saw a 150% increase in attendees from in-person the year prior, and over 1,000 chat messages and interactions throughout the event.
