Five Year Anniversary Cake Walk

For our five-year gallery anniversary, we envisioned combining artwork with cake performances featuring notable artists Optimus Volts, ManRabbit, Alexander Arshansky, and Duke Windsor. The event was a great success, as top collectors, supporters, friends, and neighbors gathered to watch as the artists decorated cakes in their own artistic style. The gallery space was transformed with the help of Found Rentals who supplied elegant decor, including a round farmhouse table and upholstered vintage chairs. The table was topped with an abundant spread of garden vegetables, nuts, dried meats, and cheeses from our partners at The San Diego Wine and Culinary Center. Upon arrival, guests were greeted by a performing stilt walker and competed in a silent auction for one-of-a-kind local artwork. After mingling, guests dined on grilled salmon with tangerine glaze and forbidden rice. The artistic cake creations were served alongside decadent saffron coconut cardamom lattes. Handmade drink tokens were customized by the gallery specifically for the occasion.
