FNIH Lurie Prize Award Ceremony

May 2019
Awards Ceremony
Washington, DC

Overview
From Elizabeth Imber
The Foundation for the National Institutes of Health’s Lurie Prize Award Ceremony bringing together some of the foremost leaders in the field of biomedical sciences to recognize outstanding achievement by a promising scientist aged 52 or younger. The goal of the Lurie Prize event branding and invitation design is for it to rise to the level and the prestige of the event itself. Each year the attendees look forward to the WOW. In 2019, Dr. Yasmine Belkaid was recognized for her achievement in the study of microbes and their role in the immune response of our gut and skin. A peekaboo laser cut cover reveals an image from Dr. Belkaid’s work. The space agey image is actually of adipose tissue (or fat) in the gut. Holographic purple foil stamping throughout adds that modern upscale element.
