The Macallan unveiled the latest release of its annual series, The Macallan Edition No. 4, in an official launch executed by Big Bash. Among those present at the launch hosted by Brand Ambassador, were partners of Edrington, members of the media and established key influencers. Kicking off the evening with cocktails served with The Macallan Sherry Oak 12 Years Old, guests were introduced to the new Macallan Distillery located on the Speyside Easter Elchies estate through the photo gallery experience. The interactive displays in the event also allowed the guests to learn more about the Edition No.4 being launched. An immersive 360 orbit video was created for the launch which brought guests on an immersive journey through the new distillery and its impressive infrastructure. Each guest was treated to an exclusive first taste of the new Edition No. 4. An auction of a limited number of 12 bottles of Edition No. 4 was held in conjunction with Edrington’s initiative to support Newborns Vietnam, a non-government organisation (NGO) that works with hospitals in Vietnam to reduce infant mortality. The bottles priced at RM1,000 each were all sold in a matter of minutes, with 100% of all sales proceeds going to the NGO.
