Vintage cherry-red convertibles, oversized disco balls and Bruno Mars? Sounds like our kind of party. In partnership with Vanity Fair, Instagram wanted to celebrate Hollywood’s next generation of creators by hosting an event the night before the Golden Globes at the iconic late night spot, Mel’s Drive-In. We collaborated with Instagram to bring a “futuristic Grease-chic” concept to life and produced the ultimate throwback party. We decked out the venue with vintage cars and vibrant neon lights, providing guests with IG Story-worthy backdrops and photo ops. The next wave of entertainment, music and fashion trendsetters, including King Bach, Amanda Cern and Gigi Gorgeous, brought the Sunset Strip party directly to their millions of fans via Instagram Live and Stories.
