The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story is part of the FX anthology series by Ryan Murphy, which explores the murder of the iconic fashion designer. Industria Creative partnered with FX for an electric series launch. To create buzz and build anticipation, we hosted VIP/Influencer events in Los Angeles and Miami. Our design, scenic elements, and lighting reflected the property’s color story and brand aesthetic. According to Mr. Murphy, "Gianni Versace's life was like an opera, filled with passion, beauty and limitless creativity." This was the inspiration behind our experience. So it was only fitting that we secured a Soprano in each market for a surprise performance of Versace’s favorite aria, Puccini’s Vissi d’arte, followed by a screening of the show. Conversations and social sharing kept the evening going – especially with this floral moment, representing robust beauty and the continuation of life. We partnered with OUT, and secured Influencers from the queer community, as part of our social responsibility – to support Ryan Murphy’s mission to elevate the conversation, and increase awareness of homophobia, through the lens of Versace.
