Is anyone still doing immersive virtual events? You know the kind that have avatars and 3D venues where you walk around to find sessions and networking.
If so, what tool are you using?
Have used Active Theory/Dreamwave for bespoke events like this in the past. Think theyβre still doing them. Not cheap, but definitely recommend them
The best platform has always been eXvo
@EventPlanner293 Their solution looks interesting at first glance -- any intros you can share would be much appreciated.
All my contacts are gone. Sandy hammer (the ceo) is very well connected.
@EventPlanner963 do you know sandy?
Hm I donβt
No worries - I booked a demo via the website.
I could not find what I wanted so I built one for a specific event a few years ago. Not a fan of many of the Avatar platforms, little creepy! But I am sure AI will bring us a new level of fabulous for virtual.
Hey all! One of the events I work on is looking into a interactive floor plan platform we can use both internally as a multi-department team and externally to clients. Finding something where we can control who can see what and is very user friendly (both back end and front end) is key. We used a2z last year and are open to other platforms.
Are there any floor plan platforms out there that folks absolutely love?
Whatβs the best venue designer platform for events with full table, 1/2 table, and individual seats for sale? Looking at 350-400 attendees. The event is 1x/year so I wonβt need a subscription service. Iβve explored these : Planning Pod, All Seated, Social Tables
Are there any others???
Any recommendations for custom technology/software development vendors? Have worked with a few but open to more. For custom experiential buildouts for major entertainment brands
Looking for restaurant recommendations that are open on a Sunday night (7:30 PM), mid-to-upscale for ~9 people in San Francisco (ideally downtown-ish area). Some of the places I've found that look great aren't open on Sundays!

Hello!
Iβm searching for distinctive venues in San Francisco for an event in November. They should have the capacity to host more than 400 attendees. Does anyone have any recommendations?
Looking for a venue in Silicon Valley (probably not as far down as San Jose) for about 30 C-suite executives. Can be a restaurant (buyout or private room), cultural institution, winery, etc. Open to any high-end ideas. Thanks!
I am looking for a premium/high end event space for about 100 people for a one day event in November that also has space for breakouts in San Francisco. Not sure if anyone knows of any private spots or function space that would be accommodating to a small group with plenty of space for smaller group meetings.
Hi everyone! Does anyone have any venue recommendations in San Francisco (capacity: 3,000)?
LA - Looking for an indoor/outdoor venue for ~200 guests for a nonprofit event this fall. The Fig House is a good reference. City Market Social House would be too big. & Valentine is a bit too designed. Would love something in West Hollywood!
Looking for a great SF restaurant private room, ideally 30-50 people. Needs to be fully private (not open to the main room of a restaurant).
Hi everyone! Looking for a venue in Los Angeles that isn't a hotel for an AI event for between 250-300 people - let me know if anything comes to mind - thank you π
Hey guys! Iβm looking for smaller venues in LA for a corporate networking event. Itβs an afternoon event with presentations followed by a cocktail hour. I think the capacity should be for 50-100 ppl. The client tends to like trendy, colorful and out of the ordinary venues rather than hotel conference rooms. In-House AV setup is a plus. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance! π
Looking for venues in Los Angeles! Looking for something chic that can accommodate up to 100 seated! Thanks π
More SF & LA questions for you all!
1. SF: Need 2 locations for a roundtable of 20-25 people that will serve breakfast or lunch. Prefer a restaurant, but am def open to hotel or meeting venue. (April 15 & 16). (I found this SF thread from a few weeks ago, but I think we have a little more budget than Wendy!)
2. LA: Need 2 dinner locations for April 16 & 17, about 15pax each dinner. Looking in West Hollywood/Beverly Hills area for Tuesday & Santa Monica/West Side area for Wednesday. Something nice, and quiet enough that it will allow for conversation (business dinners with potential clients).

Hello, all! I'm looking for recommendations for a cool space in Los Angeles venue (Hollywood, WeHo, Culver City, DTLA, Mid-City) to host a networking reception (100-150 ppl). Preferably a venue has both indoor and outdoor space. The place that was used pre-pandemic is now closed so it would be great to find something similar. https://www.theparlorhollywood.com/
