Hi All! Wondering if anyone uses Bizzabo for webinars & virtual events? I have not had hands-on experience with it, but my company 1) has it as a hold-over from a large user conference and 2) needs an upgraded webinar/virtual events platform (currently using Zoom). We are 95% certain we will resign, and will be hosting some test webinars next week, but I would love to hear feedback on Bizzabo's webinar/virtual event features from any current users. Thank you!
I never used for virtual events specifically but we used for a few in person dinners (RSVP and used for landing page, email marketing, etc) and I really liked it. Very user friendly. I bet others will have more insight on Bizzabo as a virtual events product!
it’s alright. there’s reoccurring event I attend once a month that is on Bizzabo and I’m not a big fan, there are some minor glitches but also could be my laptop. it has smooth registration process, analytics are pretty robust too. I personally prefer Accelevents.
And I agree with Claudia, it’s great for in-person events, I used it for the conference for a few years.
I have a lot of Bizzabo experience. Happy to answer any questions you have about it. We have hosted event websites, used it for virtual events, and managed event registrations. We've also used their mobile app for attendee engagement as well as their mobile app for lead scanning.
From a virtual event perspective, it may not be the best out there, but it is a solid choice.
We are a certified Bizzabo agency partner and produce all kinds of events on that platform (and others).
We have experienced some glitches with virtual events but nothing catastrophic.
Let me know if you have any other specific questions.
👋 Hi, I actually used to be a product manager at Bizzabo and worked in part on webinar setup. If you use their newer Venue virtual experience, it’s definitely a big upgrade over Zoom. Unless something has changed though, there are a ton of setup options and it can be a bit of a pain to get everything configured correctly. Some of their video solutions are also more reliable than others. Stream 2.0 will generally provide the best experience
Hi! I know I'm late to this thread but we've been using welcome since 2020 and are big fans. We do a ton of virtual since our community is global. Happy to share more if useful to you!
Would agree with what has been said and add, as the team that works on the back end of the virtual broadcasts it has a solid back and we have not had connection issues. It’s definitely and upgrade to zoom experience. For the price range, it’s one of the better options in that range. I will say, price range or not, the experience is also what you make it. Tell stories, be consistent in messaging, branding, engagement. At the end of the day, we all grew up watching TV and going to the movies with our families, what kept us wanting more (other than not on demand at the time)… it’s the stories that captivate us and the production value that goes into it.
I really like Goldcast.io. We brought them on during the pandemic and use for hybrid and virtual-only events
Curious if anyone has done a multi-breakout, multi-session event on a platform you loved. Does that even exist? I’m managing 80 sessions over 3 days in 6 different breakouts. We decided against one platform because they couldn’t produce a solid reference for someone who had done this large of an event and there were issues with the RTMP flow. The platform we are using has some nuances, especially on the production side that aren’t the best.
So what have you used that you like?
<!here>, we're kicking off this channel to be a dedicated space to support one another as event tech continues to rapidly evolve. This post on LinkedIn inspired me to ask - are you willing to share your event tech stack with the group here? It might help inspire other members to look into new solutions, or ask for your more specific advice or opinion on tech you currently use. As a reminder, we also have the #ai-for-events channel for those interested.
Anyone have a favorite webinar platform- open to whether you produced or were an attendee? We are looking to onboard one in our next fiscal year and I would love opinions. Looking at On24, Splash, Zoom events, Go to Webinar, Bizzaboo.
What virtual event platform do you all use? Has anyone ever used Goldcast? I am looking to host a half day virtual user conference in the spring. Whatever we pick must have multi track capabilities and a sponsor showcase area. We currently use Demio for webinars (very simple tool) and tried AirMeet (hated it).
hi friends! looking for a solid event app vendor and appreciate any leads!! thank you and grateful for this group of pros!!
Can anyone recommend a reg software for a one day, all general session meeting for 200 pax? We need standard meeting items- speaker bios/photos, agenda, ticketing, comp codes, etc. Didn’t know who might be good for a one off event.
What apps are folks using these days for webinars specifically (not conference software)?
Curious to hear from virtual event planners. Have you tested the pros/cons of leaving 5 minute breaks between sessions? If you did, did you see drop off throughout the day?
Hello! could someone here recommend a good and comprehensive registration tool, besides Cvent? Thank you so much in advance.
hi friends - looking for badge vendors that have products that encourage networking but are not tied for RFID (ie - individual QR codes to LinkedIn profiles, etc) would love any suggestions or things you have done in the past or vendors you have used... THANK YOU!
Hello Event Planners, I would like to know who is using a trade show/event planning software program. What it is the program you are using? Does anyone share the program internationally with employees. How do you like the program that you are using. Thank you in advance for any feedback.

What went well:
• We well surpassed our attendee targets 📈
• Broadly speaking, there were no major streaming issues, attendee login issues, or major tech concerns that could impact the user experience.
• We're seeing higher than expected on demand traction, and received positive feedback on the content this year. 👏
• The production value for our videos has dramatically improved YOY, with this year being the best yet.
For next year:
• Live content: we had multiple redundancies in place in case of an outage, speaker not showing up, etc. Thankfully, we didn't have to use most of it! We did have 1 live stream buffer a bit right at the end of their session and were able to quickly load up the backup video to ensure the on demand version was crisp. We put a lot of effort into our contingency plans, and I'll do it all over again next year!
• Networking: We partnered with our event tech provider to create a brand new, user-generated networking feature in the form of "lounge discussions." This was a late add with little time to fine tune or promote it. Next year, with more runway, I hope we can take learnings from this year on how our attendees want to connect, enhance the tech offering and build stronger messaging that nurture folks towards using these more effectively.
• Support: the events team is currently fielding most week-of attendee questions. Thankfully, we've made logging in fairly intuitive; however, our process no longer fits our size. We have to do some digging into better systems and resourcing to help keep our team focused on the rest of the event and not support issues.
Can anyone recommend an alternative to Eventbrite, now that they've changed their pricing structure? I host a range of small community events- larger corporate parties, but typically not exceeding over 350ppl. Thanks!
Hi all! I am looking into new possible namebadge printing software/hardware for our smaller scale events. We typically use Bizzabo and their printers for our larger events, but haven't found a great cost friendly option we can count on for the smaller events. Please let me know if you have any great options to share - thank you!
Hi there! Looking to build an app for an upcoming client program. Wondering if anyone has any reccos for event based apps you've used. It would be great if there's a ticket integration feature.
Hi all! Has anyone used ON24 for a large 1000 person virtual event? Do you know if it has robust capabilities?
Has anyone used event software other than Splash and Bizzabo for event registration, save the dates, etc.? I’ve tried them both but recently Splash’s virtual capabilities have fallen short 🫤
Hi Everyone, I am planning four 100-150 person events and wanting to find a vendor that can do onsite badge printing and attendee check-in. I just got a quote from cvent that seems really high ($12K per city). Does anyone have any recommendations for other companies that help with event check-in/registration with badge printing?
what is everyone's go-to webinar platform? we are currently using demio but they don't integrate with linkedin live or twitter live. we don't need a super advance platform like hopin because we don't host virtual conferences, just monthly webinars.
Hey All! Im running point on a 200 person conference this fall, but having trouble finding an event registration platform that meets the following needs:
1. Paid registration options
2. Ability to have approval process to vet registrants before they pay
3. aesthetically pleasing and easy to use for registrants
I set up a glue up account but have not been having the best experience, and im trying out RSVPify, but if 1)anyone has any recommendations or 2) has tried any of these platforms please let me know 🙂
Hi all. I'm looking for a vendor to help create non-floral centerpieces for an event in NYC. The centerpieces will be made out of toys which are donated after the event. thanks!
Hi everyone !! I’m hoping to find an exclusive and difficult to get into restaurant to host 15-20 clients in NYC. We’ve already done The Polo Bar. Any other recommendations? If you also have a similar style rec for Dallas, Ill take that too :). Thanks!
Has anyone used a live scribe in New York? I'm looking for something like Scriberia but based in New York / the states more broadly.
I’m working on putting together a template for the team to show to leadership with where we want to show up, investment level, type of event, past KPIs, and any other relevant information.. does anyone have recs on how to do this outside of excel? There’s nothing wrong with tried and true haha just want to see if I’m missing an opportunity to use something better if it’s out there :)
Any favorite suggestions for a great rooftop + great food for a work happy hour for #50 people?
