Overview

The Howard Gilman Performance Space is made up of both the Rudolf Nureyev Studio and the Danny Kaye & Sylvia Fine Kaye Studio. It is a large, open studio that can accommodate performances and rehearsals. The space is 72’ wide by 43’ deep, and the grid height is 15’4”. The Howard Gilman Performance Space is located on the 4th floor of BAC, including a lobby, two public restrooms equipped with locker rooms, and a small kitchen. Ideal for: Showings, Rehearsals, Conferences + Meetings, Events and Photo + Film Shoots. The Howard Gilman Performance Space is named in honor of Howard Gilman, a philanthropist and long-time friend and supporter of Mikhail Baryshnikov. The Howard Gilman Performance Space was dedicated in November 2006. Lead support for the theater was provided by The Howard Gilman Foundation.
